Nene Kaya, Ardahan İlinin Posof İlçesinde yer almakta olup, nene kaya ile ilgili birçok hikaye bulunmaktadır. Ben de 1996 yılında Posof ziyaretimde bana anlatılan hikayeyi sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum.
Nene Kaya‘nın hikayesi büyük mücadelelerin verildiği savaş döneminde geçmektedir. Türk askerleri ile düşman askerleri karşı karşıya gelmiş, cephede ağır şartlar altında kıran kırana mücadele edilmektedir. Halk yokluk içinde olmasına rağmen elindeki avucundakiyle ordusuna sahip çıkıp askerlerine destek verilmektedir.
Bir cuma günü o yörede yaşayan bir nene, evinde olanlarla askerlere götürmek üzere bir sepet hazırlar. Sepetine kendi yaptığı peynirden, kendi yetiştirdiği sebze ve meyvelerden koyar. Nene hazırlığını tamamladıktan sonra sepetini koluna takıp köpeğini de yanına alarak yola çıkar.
Nenenin çıktığı yol zorlu ve tehlikelidir. Uzunca bir süre patika yollardan köpeği ile birlikte yürümesi gerekecektir. Bir iki saat yürüdükten sonra korktuğu başına gelir ve düşman askerleriyle karşılaşır. Neneyi fark eden düşman askerleri namlularını ona yönelterek üzerine doğru yürürler. Nene korkmuştur ve ne yapacağını bilmemektedir. Artık burun buruna gelmişlerdir ve nene içinden dua etmeye başlar.
“Allah’ım, beni koru. Beni ya kuş yap; uçup gideyim ya da taş yap; bana dokunmasınlar” diye dua eder. Allah-u teâla da “Seni kuş yapsam vurur öldürürler, taş yapayım da sana dokunamasınlar.” diyerek oracıkta köpeği ile birlikte onları taş yapar.
Nene Kaya tüm belirgin hatlarıyla elinde sepeti ve yanında köpeği ile Posof Çayı’nın üzerinde yüksekte bir konumda bütün heybetiyle durmaktadır. Sizlerin de yolu bir gün Posof’tan geçerse Nene Kaya‘yı kendi gözlerinizle görebilirsiniz.
